iNDiS 2018 is 14th International scientific conference on planning, design, construction and building renewal that has been organizing in Novi Sad since 1976.
The aim of the Conference is to assemble an international forum of experts from the country and abroad on theoretical and experimental research in design process, building maintenance and project and construction management.
At the same time, this will be a place to exchange experiences and information about latest achievements in planning, design, new materials and technologies for construction, restoration and renewal of buildings.

University of Novi Sad is one of the largest educational and scientific centers in Central Europe. Currently, university is the second largest state university in Serbia and the region, and the headquarters of the University of Novi Sad are in the central campus on the banks of the Danube, near the famous Petrovaradin fortress, built in the 18th century, and the old city center. Not far from the headquarters of the University is the Faculty of Technical Sciences, as well as many other faculties (Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education and the Institute of Food Technology).
Novi Sad, located on the banks of the Danube River, is very beautiful and warm city that captivates with its hospitality, openness and honesty. It represents the cultural, university and economic center of Vojvodina, and is also known as multinational, multicultural and multi-religious metropolis where differences are seen as an advantage. The most famous museums and galleries of the city are the Museum of Vojvodina, Novi Sad City Museum, Museum of the labor movement and social revolution, Matica Srpska and Gallery of Pavle Beljanski. Novi Sad is a city short but rich history, interesting people and events in which in the early 20th century, Albert Einstein lived with his wife Mileva Maric-Einstein. Today's most popular trademark of Novi Sad is EXIT music festival, which takes place at the Petrovaradin fortress.
On the right bank of the Danube is Petrovaradin, jewel of Baroque architecture, which was built at the same time as the Petrovaradin Fortress, from 1692 to 1780. Novi Sad City Museum, Historical Archive of Novi Sad, as well as the part of the Academy of Arts of the University and numerous art galleries, workshops, restaurants and cafes are located at the fortress, which represents a civilian and cultural treasure of the city. The famous clock tower on the lookout is one of the symbols of Novi Sad.
