Milan Uljarević

Paper title: Contemporary Approach to Conventional Tunnel Construction and Methods for Overcoming Complex Geological and Hydrogeological Challenges

Milan Uljarević is a civil engineer with over 10 years of experience in tunneling and underground construction. He holds two Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering and in Roads and Railways, and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the application of the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM).

His research interests include the structural behavior of primary tunnel linings, with particular emphasis on the role of lattice girders and steel ribs.

He has authored and co-authored several papers presented at international professional conferences, including the World Tunnel Congress (WTC 2025).
